Immediately after retiring as a Lieutenant from the Monroe Township Police Department after 25 years of service , Mike Gabbianelli announced his intention to run for Mayor. As a community leader and businessman, Gabbianelli felt someone needed to “write a new page” for Monroe.

Four years ago Mike Gabbianelli promised two things; that he would run Monroe Township like a business and make Monroe friendly to businesses . During his administration he has led the community into a new direction. No longer is Monroe known for its negative headlines and political infighting. Instead, Mayor Gabbianelli has focused on economic development , improving our parks and recreation and enhancing our safety and quality of life . That is why residents across the Town are saying Mayor Gabbianelli is “Getting the Job Done”!
